Here's why we are so excited for Joy's K-drama debut in Lovely Love Lie

The Red Velvet member probably brought a smile to singer Cho Yong Pil's face when she did an amazing job covering his classic "Now I Wish It Was So". TvN recently released a music video of their leading actress performing the song to promote her upcoming  Lovely Love Lie series.

You heard a clip of her pouring her heart and soul into the thoughtful tune in the original teasers. Now, the network is giving their audience the opportunity to hear the 20 year-old idol's sweet vocals in a longer version.

TvN's Lovely Love Lie, which is about a brilliant composer and a talented vocalist falling in love, premieres on March 20. It is based on a manga titled The Liar and His Lover, and Joy plans to delight us all with her portrayal of Yoon So Rim, a bright young woman with a refreshing singing voice. Actor Lee Hyun Woo co-stars as composer Kang Han Kyeol who encourages So Rim to pursue her dreams in the music industry.
